Hi! I am Kendall. I started this blog six years ago, with the hope that it would help me make the absolute most of the remaining free time with my very little kids. And upon returning to work, I wanted to maximize our weekends and semi-annual vacations. From 2018-early 2020 we "wandered" more than I could have imagined! Then COVID hit and traveling and maintaining the blog became too much. Fast-forward to January 2024... my once little kids are now much bigger, love traveling, and have requested that we start the blog again so THEY can share their experiences! (My travel-loving mom heart is brimming.) So our NEW posts will be a family collaboration, sharing our adventures and insights from our different perspectives and voices. (Yes, the kids are writing their own segments! Again, mom heart brimming with pride and joy!)
Now, here's a bit more about who we are: I am married to my best friend, Rob; I am a mom to a 7 and a 9 year old; and I am a high school social studies teacher. Rob and I have always loved traveling both near and far, exploring both nature and culture... especially food! And, we are so excited that we have passed the travel bug onto our children. We will be sharing all of these adventures and hope you’ll follow along.
